About

Ellen Guerrero has been active, full time, in the veterinary and dog training field for over 15 years. In addition to dog training, she was the program coordinator for the K-9 Training and Behavior Center in Winter Park where she worked with up to thirty dogs a day. She has always worked towards a better understanding between humans and animals.

Her goal is to enhance the communication between people and their pets using positive reinforcement with balanced training techniques. Her passion is to use positive training techniques to help dogs and their guardians better communicate their needs to each other so that both can be happy while living under the same roof.

Ellen received a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida which supports her strong interest and activities related to animal behavior and training. She attends seminars and workshops to further her knowledge and update her training techniques.

She is a professional member and Certified Dog Trainer through the International Association of Canine Professionals. She is an American Kennel Club Star Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine (Advanced), and Urban Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
